Do you have this recurring nightmare?

Dear Reader,

I don’t have many bad dreams, but I do have a recurring Christmas nightmare.

I have it every year without fail. In the dream, it’s late on Christmas Eve, and I suddenly realize I haven’t bought or wrapped any stocking stuffers. I race to the only open store, which is always the Sav-on Drugs of my childhood, and buy random items to fill stockings for all my children. I always wake up in a panic.

And then, every year, I realize I still have plenty of time, and I start to get serious about planning so I don’t have to have the dream again.

In order to help you avoid the panic and start preparing for the holidays before the nightmares start, I’m offering a 7-Day Holiday Harmony Challenge. And you’re invited!

When you’re a grandparent, holidays are even more complicated. There’s so much more to consider than menus and gift lists. Without proper preparation, you can find yourself exhausted, disappointed, or resentful—and sometimes all three.

The Holiday Harmony Challenge is designed to help you avoid that. Each morning for seven days, you’ll get an email with a story, an insight, and an action item to guide you past one of the potential potholes of family holidays. By the end, you’ll be ready to navigate this year’s holiday season with confidence and grace.

The best part? It’s free! You don’t have any excuse not to sign up—in fact, you only need to click here to be added to the challenge!

Warm regards,
DeeDee

Laughing mother holding dark-haired baby with laughing grandparents embracing them

Dear Reader, When I started More Than Grand, my goal was to help new grandparents better understand and support parents. I wanted to share the research on new baby care and safety, illuminate new parenting trends, and provide ideas for how to be helpful. I believed that by doing this, I could help families become closer and stronger. But as I attracted...
